Should I avoid public gatherings because of Swine flu?

I live in San Diego, swine flu cases have been reported here this week. I was supposed to go to a Club in Downtown this Friday night, should I skip it?

That is going to be a personal choice only you can make. If you do not feel you should then don’t go. If you want to go, have fun. :)

Personally, I would not risk it. Especially in a place like a night club.

I would skip, but if you really would like to go…then take a chance and go :/

To Protect Yourself Against Swine Flu:

-Encourage all people to cover their mouth and nose when they cough or sneeze.

-Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough and sneeze. (alcohol based hand cleaners are also effective)

-Try to avoid contact with sick people.

-If you get sick avoid contact with others to avoid infecting them.

If it was up to me, i would leave it until the hysteria dies down a bit, but if you do go.. i would be careful of touching other people and of the environment. If you do go, be careful!
