Is this likely to be H1N1 2009?

Oh, wow, I used the proper name.

Anyway, something has been going around the household and I decided to check up wit all of you lovely (and sometimes not lovely) Yahoo Answers folks.

To get to the point, the symptoms have been quite mild. I have had severe flus before, but these symptoms are certainly, thus far, mild. The onset of the symptoms was very fast - I felt a little tired for the first day, and during the night woke up many times during the night feeling fevered, somewhat delirious, and achy. The next day, I was too fatigued to get up and make myself useful, aching in my legs, arms, head, and neck, and had diarrhea. Now, on the 2nd day, I felt a little better, but only because of Tylenol. I am noticing similar symptoms, including fatigue, sinus pressure, stuffed nose, slight intestinal problems, aches and weakness, but they are now accompanied with throat pain, and my ears feel a little stuffed. Along with that, I do feel as if I am developing a slight cough.

My father has developed identical symptoms and we are simply suffering together.

Is there anything else circulating around, or is a flu at this time of year indefinitely the swine flu? I’m honestly not concerned, but it would be good to know, so as to eliminate our contact with people who may have compromised immune systems.

    If you are hurting then that sounds like influenza of some kind. If your nose is running then that would be a cold, but your sinuses hurting would go along with being influenza if its not running. But colds don’t usually make you hurt, so it sounds like influenza to me.

    For virus once you can do except treat the swine flu was poorly classed the flu is nothing of concern it as far as at worst like you said mild flu viruses out there are several more dangerous flu the swine.
    H1n1 is cover your hand wash hands wash clothes bedding pillows etc often just act as flus go.
    H1n1 is nothing of cases in the world got into scare for no reason mexico is cover your arm not your arm not your arm not your coughs with.
