The United States has around 41,000 cases of the virus, and even though it is summer, the virus is spreading faster than ever before. I remember when the virus first broke out, scientists were saying it would go away in the summer. Well, now it is summer and the virus is spreading very quickly, if it’s spreading fast now when it’s not even flu season, can you imagine how much faster it’s going to be spreading when the flu season starts? I read from several news sites saying that the virus only took 6 weeks to spread at the rate it has, but before, it 6 months for viruses to spread at the same rate as the current strain has so far.

i went to my sisters graduation at 9am, a lot of people were coughing. i live in michigan. About an hour later i had sweet and sour chicken at a chinese restaurant. I felt alright, but i hadn’t felt good all day, i woke up with a sore throat but this has been happening for quite a while, i was just getting over a respiratory infection type of thing (coughing, sore throat, etc.) but that was about 2 weeks ago. Anyways, we got home and i took a long nap, and i woke up feeling terrible. I thought maybe i needed to eat something so i ate some peaches and about 10 minutes later threw up once. Then i got diarrhea a few times. I don’t have a fever, or any other symptoms but a cough which ive had for about 4 weeks. Other then that im fine and i feel fine now that im done with that.

I’m 13 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I’m concerned about the reported increased risk of severe infection death among pregnant women. I’m JUST as concerned that the H1N1 vaccine won’t be thoroughly tested before its release, and I don’t want to put my baby in harms way.
Does anyone know of any good articles or solid studies about the H1N1 vaccine and its affect on fetuses? Please state your source.

Unlike regular flu’s that kill many older and really young people, the 1918 flu killed many healthy people because their immune systems, not the flu, actually attacked their body enough to kill them. The deaths in Mexico also included many healthy people, so that was why there was concern this time in 2009. If we plan to make a vaccine for the H1N1 in the coming months, how can we make one that won’t trigger our immune systems to overreact and attack our own bodies?

In my country most cases were imported - people coming from abroad and spread the virus. Lately two local transmissions due to contacts with imported cases have been reported. In China for example, it has even up to now entered Turkestan province - caused by some of their people visiting US as tourists.
I know complete travel ban will involve a lot of complications especially for very urgent matter, education and losses for businesses, but the disease spread is getting very dangerous.
Travel ban and border closure should be implemented. Let the world halt all travels for few months. Strictly quarantine all infected and suspected persons. All hygiene and sanitation measures to be implemented properly and strictly. All must cooperate to stop this virus.
What do you think?

I live in a tropical country and I usually experience flu when there would be this sudden or unexpected change in the weather from cold to hot or vice versa, now this question came up to me since there’s this hype about infuenza A (h1n1). But my question is just w/ regard to the the ordinary flu; that if eskimos also get flu when they have this constant or almost unchanging temperature or weather in their places. Thanks to all, mabuhay!!!!!!

10 Things the CDC and our government doesnt want you to know.
Ten things you’re not supposed to know about the swine flu vaccine
(At least, not by anyone in authority…)
#1 - The vaccine production was rushed and the vaccine has never been tested on humans. Do you like to play guinea pig for http://www.naturalnews.com/Big_Pharma.htmlBig Pharma? If so, line up for your swine flu vaccine this fall…
#2 - Swine http://www.naturalnews.com/flu_vaccines.htmlflu vaccines contain dangerous adjuvants that cause an inflammatory response in the body. This is why they are suspected of causing autism and other neurological disorders.
#3 - The swine flu vaccine could actually increase your risk of death from swine flu by altering (or suppressing) your immune system response. There is zero evidence that even seasonal flu shots offer any meaningful protection for people who take the jabs. Vaccines are the snake oil of modern medicine.
#4 - Doctors still don’t know why the 1976 swine flu vaccines paralyzed so many people. And that means they really have no clue whether the upcoming vaccine might cause the same devastating side effects. (And they’re not testing it, either…)
#5 - Even if the swine flu vaccine kills you, the http://www.naturalnews.com/drug_companies.htmldrug companies aren’t responsible. The U.S. government has granted drug companies complete immunity against vaccine product liability. Thanks to that blanket immunity, drug companies have no incentive to make safe vaccines, because they only get paid based on quantity, not safety (zero liability).
#6 - No swine flu vaccine works as well as vitamin D to protect you from influenza. That’s an inconvenient scientific fact that the U.S. government, the FDA and Big Pharma hope the people never realize.
#7 - Even if the swine flu vaccine actually works, mathematically speaking if everyone else around you gets the vaccine, you don’t need one! (Because it can’t spread through the population you hang with.) So even if you believe in the vaccine, all you need to do is encourage your friends to go get vaccinated…
#8 - Drug companies are making billions of dollars from the production of swine flu vaccines. That money comes out of your pocket — even if you don’t get the jab — because it’s all paid by the taxpayers.
#9 - When people start dying in larger numbers from the swine flu, rest assured that many of them will be the very people who got the swine flu vaccine. Doctors will explain this away with their typical Big Pharma logic: The number saved is far greater than the number lost. Of course, the number saved is entirely fictional… imaginary… and exists only in their own warped heads.
#10 - The swine flu vaccine centers that will crop up all over the world in the coming months aren’t completely useless: They will provide an easy way to identify large groups of really stupid people. (Too bad there isn’t some sort of blue dye that we could tag ‘em with for future reference…)
The lottery, they say, is a tax on people who can’t do math. Similarly, flu vaccines are a tax on people who don’t understand health.
